DESK MANAGERPart-time Position reports to: Club Operations DirectorSchool Year: Monday-Friday: 2:00p-7:00pSummer: Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p Compensation: $13.00-$15.00/ hourBoys & Girls Club of West Chester/LibertyBGCWCL offers after school and summer programming for youth grades 2-12. Members attend quality programs led by a diverse team of Youth Development Professionals that focus on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship. Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Club Operations Director, the Desk Manager has the general responsibility of customer service, membership management, record keeping, and limited financial administration. As the first point of contact at the Club, this individual must demonstrate high energy, positivity, and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate daily record of membership and attendance information for the Club for Club Members, Volunteers, and Guests; oversee dismissal
  • Implementation of BGC's 5 Key Elements for youth development
  • Oversee aspects of new member and parent orientation;
  • Input accurate attendance records into MyClubHub (Salesforce); training provided
  • Develop and demonstrate proficiency in MyClubHub functions, including data entry, data reporting, and other administrative tasks. Assist with Year-end Report.
  • Answer phone calls and conveys accurate and timely messages.
  • Collect membership fees
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, volunteers, and parents/guardians.
  • Communicate Club Updates to parents/ guardians
  • Maintain confidential files related to membership, attendance and dues/fees up to date.
  • Prepare and issue new membership cards.
  • Report any parent/guardian concerns and member concerns to Club Operations Director and/or Program Directors.
  • Conduct daily announcements over the overhead PA system.
  • Assist co-workers with other related tasks as needed.
  • Attend and participate special BGCWCL events
  • Other duties as assigned
