Job Summary

Desktop Administrator is responsible for providing daily technical support and enhancements to Servpro's critical business Systems, and desktop environment. Responsibilities encompass support for a technical infrastructure of Corporate users and daily access to and usage of Corporate systems for Franchises nationwide.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical Production support to Servpro Corporate users and Servpro Franchise users.
  • Provide maintenance, enhancements, and implementation for Servpro applications including, but not limited to, Servpro Office Automation, Visitation, FFA.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and enhance PC/Desktop workstations/Laptops, software, and peripherals for Servpro corporate users.
  • Maintain Servpro's Technical Support, answer user calls, track technical issues, and follow up with users for technical solutions.
  • Utilize ticketing system to manage and maintain record of all support calls and responses.
  • Determine issue prioritization based on critical needs of Franchises and/or corporate users.
  • Demonstrate expertise by providing sound, creative Technical approaches and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications, upgrades, patches, and new system technology as utilized in the Servpro environment.
  • Develop and execute test case scenarios to help ensure quality products are released to the user base
  • Assist with the development of user documentation for software developed in-house as well as documentation concerning the application of commercial software to Servpro processes.
  • Attend Information Systems Staff Meetings.
  • Provide other duties and functions as requested by Management.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a technical environment, providing technology support to end-users.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and operating systems with hands-on experience installing, maintaining, enhancing and upgrading of these applications.
  • Must have knowledge of PC Desktop and LAN environments, phone systems and components.
  • Must possess capability to manage multiple assignments concurrently, high degree of analytical and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and initiative, and teamwork approach.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple users preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
