Title: Deskside Technician

Location: Liberty, MO- this is going to be onsite 5 days a week!

Duration: Contract until end of October, 2025 - likely to extend until end of 2025 or farther, but not guaranteed

PR: $20 - 21.00 per hour, this is an entry level position!

Start: January 13th

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-5pm CST

Must Haves:

• Basic troubleshooting skills (school or professional)
• Monitors, desktops, printers, devices, wire management
• A very basic understanding of Excel
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• They have multiple sites in the area this person will have to travel to (reimbursement for travel will be provided if travelling between sites during the day, but not compensated for the drives from home to work)
• Flexibility with schedule (able to work occasional night or weekend if needed)
• Soft skills - detail oriented, can hold a conversation well, great customer service, and presents themselves well
• Looking to get their start in IT and grow within an organization
• Must be able to pass a drug screening that includes marijuana, and a background test and stay up to date on flu vaccines

Plusses:

• Imaging windows devices with SCCM or Intune
• Familiar with HP desktops and laptops
• Windows 10 or 11 experience

Day-to-Day:

A client of Insight Global is looking for an entry-level Deskside Technician to work in this fast-paced healthcare environment on-site 5 days a week. The client is undergoing a medical system integration and will be conduct devices deployments for HP and Lenovo products. This person should have basic troubleshooting skills and be able to set up monitors, printers, devices, etc. They also need to be able to lift 50 lbs. They will be trained more on any other necessary tasks such as PC imaging, hardware refresh, or other advanced skills. After training, they will apply imaging to windows devices and deploy hardware (laptops, desktops). Additionally, this client has multiple locations in the KC Metro Area and they will need to have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to these locations. They should also have good soft skills as they will be assisting people within the organization. They should have a good work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
