Desktop Engineer V New York, NY(onsite) 6+ Months Project Job Summary: The Desktop Engineer V (Windows 11 Engineer) is responsible for providing technical support for Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, troubleshooting laptops, iPhones, IT peripherals, and working within a Client/Server and TCP/IP network environment. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage IT equipment and assets effectively in a banking environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 OS.
- Troubleshoot laptops, iPhones, and IT peripherals.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Outlook and Excel.
- Work within a Client/Server and TCP/IP network environment.
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain a professional manner and deliver reliable work without sudden absences.
- Manage cradle-to-grave asset management processes.
- Handle IT equipment and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Additional Skills and Knowledge:
- Clean personal background required for working in a banking environment.
- Experience with HP laptops, computer imaging/build processes, and Service Now is a plus.
