Job Duties:
- Prepares and schedules computer setup, configuration and delivery or replacement
- Provides telephone, email and in-person technical assistance for day to day computer issues related to hardware and software
- Diagnose and fix software and hardware malfunctions
- Maintains asset inventory records for hardware and software along with license usage
- Displays continuous improvement of current practices and procedures
- Candidates must have the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. of equipment
- Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the US
RequirementsAn ideal candidate would:
- Have 2+ years supporting Windows 7, 8, and 10 in a corporate or small business environment
- Be self-motivated and enjoys the challenge of diagnosing, troubleshooting, researching, and resolving computer issues
- Possess strong customer service skills, and be able to converse well with both entry level employees and executives
- Have experience creating and managing users and computers from Active Directory, and Exchange
- Have a strong working knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, as well as standard business software like Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Have experience repairing Dell desktops and/or laptops
- Have reliable transportation for very occasional offsite duties
Added Plus:
- Certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus but not a requirement
- Experience with IP desk phones and softphones such as Cisco or Microsoft Teams
- Have experience supporting multifunction and standard printers
- Have some experience supporting Macs and Mac OSX
