General Summary:

Contribute to the hospital's mission through effective delivery and support of technology systems and services. Provide high quality customer assistance, documentation, problem resolution and escalation. Responsible for system monitoring, workload processing, and report distribution. Provide first and second level desktop dispatch assistance for applications, desktop and peripheral support for the Hospital's computing environment. Understand and enforce all data security and physical security standards.

Essential Functions:

* Contribute to the hospital's mission through effective delivery and support of technology systems and services.

* Provide high quality customer assistance, documentation, problem resolution, and escalation.

* Provide first level desktop assistance for applications, desktop and peripheral support for the hospital's computing environment, including incidents and requests escalated from Tier 1 Help Desk.

* Responsible for upgrading computer hardware and software within the hospital environment.

* Records, tracks and documents all work within the Information Services ticketing system.

* Escalates issues to Information Services leadership as appropriate.

* Understand and enforce all data security and physical security standards.
