TAYS is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our high-performing tech team in Baltimore, MD. The role is currently hybrid and requires up to 2 days on-site work in Woodlawn, MD office.

What You'll Get to Do:

Provide technical support for the purpose of maintaining the availability and reliability of company network, PC, and software problems to resolutions.

Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN performance and security.

Provide support for problem resolution, support consultation, administration and training for technical matters relating to the full complement of systems, hardware and software operating.

Perform pilot testing and monitor new systems and applications through post implementation.

Perform software and hardware upgrades and rollouts.

Utilize the Help Desk ticketing system to manage daily workflow.

Escalates unsolved problems to senior staff and or management.

Reports weekly service desk ticket statistics to management.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

You'll Bring These Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 4+ years of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Outstanding technical knowledge to install, modify, monitor, test and troubleshoot personal computer hardware and software.

Experience providing technical support via phone calls, remote, or face-to face.

Experience utilizing ticketing systems. ServiceNow is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Must have experience using ActiveDirectory.

Experience utilizing Remote Desk Software to remote into client computer.

Experience providing new user set up for laptops.

Experience troubleshooting network related issues.

Experience troubleshooting VPN connectivity.

Experience setting up, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN and PC/Laptop performance and security.
