Job Description:

1-3 years of help desk/desktop experience

Day to day will be tickets, end user support, setting up new users, A/v

Helping the divisions with projects and support, Door security system.

Desktop Support is going to be the primary function of this role .

Some exposure to Systems Administration - great opportunity for someone who wants exposure to a variety and opportunity to advance.

Tasks will range from managing the support que: RDS windows problems to Desktop Support. Wide gament and know a lot of things. Some mentoring of interns. Calls for Infrastructure issues to escalate to the team

Troubleshoot and dig into what problems are and who to pass off

Open to server side - looking for someone who wants advancement in the future.

will help with on-call rotation - when experienced enough

In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our hardware and software systems run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be crucial in providing top-notch technical support and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This role requires an energetic, customer service-oriented technologist with a minimum of 3 to 5 years applicable work experience in Service Desk, Windows Desktop and Server administration, PowerShell scripting, and Application support.  Familiarity with O365, RemoteApp, Azure, SCCM/Intune, and HyperV is a plus.

Support and basic administration of Remote Desktop Services

Support and administration of Active Directory/Azure User/Group Management

Support of O365 accounts and licenses 

Support DHCP, DNS, FTP and other network services

Respond to server resource monitoring alerts

Monitor and work customer support tickets and requests

Divisional support escalation 

Training and Documentation

Software inventories and documentation

Ability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule

Setup of physical workspaces, PC's, printers, monitors, and other peripherals

Desktop and deskside support as required

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associates degree, trade school certificate or equivalent hands-on work experience 

3+ years' experience in workstation configuration management, administration and production support 

Microsoft Server systems certifications such as Microsoft MCP, A+, Network+ are valued

Windows 10/11, Windows Server: 2016 – 2022

Microsoft Active Directory 

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Intune

Knowledge and understanding of server virtualization focused on Hyper-V 

Demonstrate basic to intermediate scripting knowledge and skills with PowerShell 

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills 

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-critical production environment 

Ability to comprehend systems architecture and design 

Ability to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate workstation requirements 

Ability to conduct research into workstation and application issues 

Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language 

Highly self-motivated, with keen attention to detail 

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities 

Strong customer service orientation and work ethic
