Network Technician in Help Desk Support is responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users regarding network issues and configurations. This entry-level position requires strong customer service skills and a basic understanding of networking concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries about network connectivity and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Assist in the setup of user accounts and network access.
- Document issues and resolutions in the help desk tracking system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
