Job Summary The Desktop Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless functioning of Servpro's essential business systems and desktop environment. This position is key to supporting a vast technical infrastructure for both Corporate users and franchises across the nation. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide daily technical production support to both Servpro Corporate and Franchise users. Maintain and enhance Servpro applications, including Servpro Office Automation, Visitation, and FFA. Install, configure, and upgrade PC/Desktop workstations, laptops, software, and peripherals for Corporate users. Manage technical support inquiries, track issues, and ensure timely resolutions for users. Utilize a ticketing system to document all support requests and responses effectively. Prioritize issues based on the critical needs of users and franchises. Showcase technical expertise by providing innovative solutions and an in-depth understanding of Microsoft applications and technology upgrades. Develop and implement test case scenarios to ensure quality releases to users. Assist in creating user documentation for both in-house developed software and commercial applications. Participate in Information Systems Staff Meetings. Take on additional responsibilities as directed by Management. Required Qualifications A minimum of two years of experience in a technological support role. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft desktop applications and operating systems. Understanding of PC Desktop and LAN environments, along with phone systems. Strong capability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. A proactive attitude and a collaborative spirit are essential. Experience in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple users is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
