Position Purpose:
The Specialist – IT Desktop Support works within the Everise Information Technology team in providing all levels of IT desktop support. The Specialist works closely with and provides support to the Everise Corporate Technology team members and their customers.
Job Requirements:
• Administration of Windows based applications of basic principles, theories, and concepts
• Administration of Exchange, office 365, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain/ Azure AD/ administration and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, creating file and print shares
• User desktop management with a working knowledge of system patch practices and imaging for Windows 11
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Networking principles such as DNS, WINS, DHCP
•Preferred working knowledge of Cisco-based routing and switching; not required but considered a plus.
• IT Support to provide 24x7 on call production support
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM/Intune is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with IT asset and inventory management is preferred.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university with two to four years related experience in IT with a focus on desktop support and management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Desired certifications include but not limited to: A+ Certification, or the latest Microsoft certifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work off-hours as required
• Management experience a plus
• Must have the personal communication and presentation skills that will represent the company professionally to outside agencies, financial institutions, business partners, employees and customers
Compensation & Benefits:
The anticipated base hourly range for this onsite position is $26.00 to $30.00 In addition, Everise provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include commission earnings and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
