Job Description:
Position: Desktop Support Tech Location: 3 20 Interlocken Pkwy, Broomfield, CO 80021 Duration: 6 Month (2 days or 3 days a week role) Pay rate - $20/hr. on W2Responsibilities
  • On-Site Support Services will be provided by Supplier Personnel who will have a business .
  • Two to three (2-3) year's providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
  • Hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting and fixing desktops, printers, laptop and other computer peripherals hardware problems.
  • Experience or ability to follow installation instructions in installing and troubleshooting desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. Ability to perform smart hand support under instruction based activities at sites.
  • Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S. Basic Mac O/S support may need to be provided by certain FTEs. Client will identify any such need during the transition and communicate to Client the locations where basic MAC O/S support may be required in advance of the Go-Live Date.
  • Lead Supplier prefers, where commercially practical, that the 'Subcontractor' use technicians with an Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including, but not limited to: monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, all under 'Smart Hands' capability which is primarily Hands & Legs support and only guided by L2 Team. Scaling heights or climbing ladders, roof etc will be out of scope for OSS team.
  • Good written, oral communications skills and good people management skills with clients and management.
  • All onsite engineers will adhere to workplace health and safety policy as agreed with customer.
  • All onsite engineers will adhere to workplace access control standard.
  • OSS dispatch & Scheduled Visit Sites support is Hands & Feet Support. This team will governed by Central team from Lead supplier.
  • Onsite support engineers will be supported by regional leads from Local Customer, who will act as a point of escalation for the respective region as per the support matrix provided.
