Job Description:
Location: Artesia, New Mexico Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 technical support at our Artesia office. The successful candidate will handle incoming calls and assist employees with basic desktop support issues including but not limited to setting up printers, troubleshooting network problems, and more. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting across desktops, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot core and non-core software and hardware.
  • Handle network and peripheral connectivity issues.
  • Document technical troubleshooting steps and outcomes in the ticketing system; ensure timely resolution and closeout of tickets.
  • Manage updates within the asset management tracking system.
  • Educate users on effective IT practices and self-help solutions.
  • Engage with end users to enhance their productivity and perception of IT support.
Key Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge in desktop and application troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience:
  • A minimum of six years of relevant job experience is required.
Education:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Essential Qualities:
  • Proactive in finding ways to improve IT engagement and user satisfaction.
  • Able to perform customer service duties as required.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional IT support.
