Job Summary: PrideStaff is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our IT team in a temporary, full-time, in-office role. This position requires U.S. citizenship and involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support to both in-office users and remote work-from-home employees. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for both office-based and remote users.
- Perform PC setups, software installations, and updates.
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and basic networking tasks.
- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT role.
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule: This is a 40-hour work week position, including one weekend day. Flexibility in schedule is required to accommodate the weekend shift.
