Seaview Boatyard |Seaview Boatyard| Bellingham, WA |Bellingham, WA| $22 - $28 an hour |$22 - $28 an hour| 2 days ago | 2 days ago |2 days ago| Seaview Boatyard North is currently seeking an experienced boat detailer who is willing to perform a variety of tasks on vessels when there is not a detailing job available. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Detailing Boat Hulls, Houses & Decks ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Sanding boat bottoms Applying bottom paint Replacing anodes Assisting additional departments in yard Cleaning yard MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Detailing Experience WORKING CONDITIONS: Outdoors most of the time Occasional extreme outdoor temperatures and weather. Occasional exposure to extreme heights. Rare exposure to adverse ventilation conditions where use of a respirator will be required. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Flexibility to work in the standing, squatting, or kneeling position, as well as reaching overhead with occasional twisting and bending while performing any of the above tasks. Stair and ladder climbing is required. Ability to work in small spaces. Minimal lifting of 50+ lbs Required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm Must work as part of a team with a good attitude. Must be punctual and have excellent work ethic.
