Summary: Review Kingspan Insulated Panels shop drawings and detail every project to create an accurate bill of materials list.Essential Duties:
- Conduct quality checks on bill of materials.
- Verify mathematical calculations.
- Verify all change orders are incorporated on every project.
- Provide an accurate count of panels, trims, and accessories.
- Produce a bill of materials (BOM) list in company format from the final approved set of drawings.
- Monitor processes for compliance with standards.
- Communicate with Project Coordinators and/or Drafters as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compliance Responsibilities:
- 4.1 Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures.
- 4.2 Participate in training as required.
Education/Experience:
- Associate's or Technical degree or appropriate level of related experience.
- Estimating experience, a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural steel drawings or appropriate level of related experience.
- Previous experience preferred in pre-engineered metal building and/or architectural design.
- Good communication and mathematical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and problem solve with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
Computer Skills:
- Competency in AutoCAD required. (Revit experience a plus).
- Competency in Adobe Applications.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
