Description Performs a variety of routine and non-routine duties in preparing meals and overseeing inmate preparation of meals. Preforms duties under general supervision. RequirementsDesirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The operation of standard kitchen equipment.
- Ability to learn the applicable laws, ordinances and department rules and regulations.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with peers and superiors.
- Completion of High School or GED
Necessary Special & Physical Requirements:
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or serous misdemeanor
- Subject to an extensive background check.
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing and polygraph examination during employment
- May be required to possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to operate County government equipment and vehicles in a safe, prudent and responsible manner.
