Swank Motion Pictures is looking for a highly motivated developer to join our team to work on innovative and leading-edge software developing enterprise-level solutions.This position is responsible for upholding the values and mission of the Information Systems department and the Development team. This includes the establishment of customer service and satisfaction standards. Communication and understanding of customer objectives and our progress toward fulfilling these objectives is paramount to the success of this role.The candidate will work in a team environment using a variety of technologies for building leading-edge solutions for both internal as well as customer-facing media playback solutions. Solutions employ advanced video security techniques including forensic watermarking, Digital Rights Management (DRM), and encryption. Technologies used include but are not limited to:Work on the latest web technologies including: Angular, .Net Core, Web API, and TypescriptWork on the latest technologies of .Net Core and .Net 4Windows Server and LinuxDocker/Kubernetes3+ years of C# experience3+ years of MVC 4/5 development experienceBasic understanding of .net core vs the .net frameworkStrong Web Development: Typescript, HTML5 using frameworks like Angular or similarStrong knowledge of object-oriented programmingStrong knowledge of web API/RESTStrong knowledge in documenting technical specificationsProven experience with GitExperience with using SQL Server as a backend preferredExperience with Entity Framework and DapperExperience with writing unit tests for code including client scriptMust be a self-starterExcellent communication skillsMust be able to assist team members in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure project completionBachelor's degree requiredTeamwork and communication skills are an important element to any position within Swank Motion Pictures.
