Our goal is to make Dagster+ the de facto hosted solution for structuring these systems.You will be working within the Developer Success team, part of the engineering organization. In this role, you will provide technical support to Dagster+ customers and open-source users, collaborate with enterprise clients, create sustainable solutions through documentation, tooling, and process improvements, and provide feedback to relevant product teams to enhance product quality.This is a full-time, competitively paid position with benefits. We are a distributed team with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Minneapolis. We have team members across the U.S. and are hiring fully remote candidates within the country. - Technical Support
- Provide technical support to Dagster+ customers and open-source users.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Dagster installations, integrations, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot issues with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) to help customers implement solutions effectively.
- Work flexible shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM ET to provide timely support to customers across different time zones.
- Onboarding & Enablement
- Lead customer onboarding for seamless Dagster+ adoption.
- Provide technical guidance on data orchestration and integration.
- Develop training content and examples.
- Collaborate with clients and sales to build strong relationships.
- Documentation, Tooling, and Process
- Improve documentation for clarity and usability.
- Improve support tooling and develop debugging resources to expedite issue resolution.
- Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to drive product improvements.
Must-have Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technical support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with empathy for clients and ability to advocate for their needs while representing the company effectively.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges independently.
- Proactive mindset for engaging with customer issues and driving improvement.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, Prefect).
- Knowledge of data engineering.
- Experience at high-growth SaaS startups.
