The Development Assistant provides support with administrative fundraising functions, including prospect research, project management, and maintaining accurate data in our donor management system (Salesforce). Our Ideal Candidate
- 1-3 years of database management experience
- 1-3 years of donor outreach experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and efficiency.
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Prospect Research: Assist with gathering and organizing donor and prospect information, conducting research on potential donors, and helping identify new fundraising opportunities.
- Project Management Support: Provide administrative assistance for various fundraising projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and supporting senior staff in tracking project progress.
- Database Management: Help maintain and update data in Salesforce, ensuring all donor and prospect information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Administrative Assistance: Support the Senior Director and VP of Philanthropy with scheduling, meeting preparation, and other administrative tasks related to development efforts.
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist in pulling reports from Salesforce and other databases to support fundraising campaigns and strategy.
