Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in development or fundraising with a strong attention to detail. We help the individuals we support become the fullest versions of themselves through the values of inclusion, independence, and freedom of choice.A Day in the Life of the Development Associate:In this position you would play a key role within our development team by helping to plan and coordinate events to help increase visibility and awareness of STAR. You will interface with donors to cultivate and deepen relationships and manage fundraising campaigns.You will also draft and edit communication to donors, including newsletters and appeals as well as oversee STAR's social media presence through various platforms and keep it updated and engaging.Additionally, you would recruit, screen and train new volunteers to assist at STAR events and programs. You will also maintain and deepen those relationships with our volunteer base to be able to assist with various assignments.Qualifications for the Job:Bachelor's degreeAt least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development marketing or volunteer coordination.Proficient in donor and volunteer database systems (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Volunteer Hub, etc.), social media management tools and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with AI tools and platforms for marketing automation & data analytics.Schedule:30 hours a week, Monday-Friday with flexibility based on the needs of the position.How to Apply:If you would like to be part of a caring and driven team.
