Reporting to the Associate Director of Institutional Gifts, the Grants Development Associate will support St. Mary's efforts to secure corporate, government, and foundation funding for our programs and services.JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESESSENTIAL DUTIES* Conduct research to identify new grant opportunities* Interact with current grant funders and grant prospects by phone, email, in-person, and letter correspondence* Prepare grant application materials (e.g. letters of inquiry, grant application forms)* Prepare grant reports* Maintain grant development databases* Assist with ad-hoc projectsFormal education required:* Bachelor's DegreePrevious experience required:* Prior experience in grant writing or other professional experience that required strong writing skills
