Macdonald and Company are proudly partnered with an affordable housing firm to grow their Development team in Salt Lake City, UT.

The 50+ year organization develops ground-up affordable housing for low-income families, along with a number of other initiatives. They now seek a Development Manager who will play a key role in the delivery of Affordable Housing projects across Salt Lake.

The Role

The Development Manager is responsible for ensuring effective execution in every facet of the real estate development cycle, playing a key role from project sourcing/due diligence through to stabilization. This person will operate within a collaborative team to deliver a variety of housing programs for the betterment of the local community.

Experience

• 3+ years of real estate development experience (ideally affordable housing or multifamily specific projects)
• Strong strategic skills, with demonstrated experience in integrating vision, strategy, tactics and activities to move an issue forward to further the objectives of the firm.
• Willingness and capability in dealing with diverse segments of the community and establishing public/private partnerships.
• Skills in negotiation, public presentation, effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to manage and change in a dynamic environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, finance, construction, architecture, or related field.
