Job Description
Provides support in the identification and management of active an prospective donors. Works to build and reinforce a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
Job Responsibility
* Collaborates with major gift officer to strategize and support cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects and build pipeline.
* Works in conjunction with Foundation team to identify and implement strategies for prospective and current donors.
* Participates in stewardship and fundraising events. Attends all committee and Foundation Board meetings.
* Serves as back-up for gift recording and processes including acknowledgements and running reports in the donor system.
* Cultivates and maintains seamless relationship management for donors, prospects, major gift officer and Executive Director.
* Operates under general guidance and work assignments that are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.
* Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the American with Disabilities Act.

Job Qualification
* Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* 2-4 years of relevant experience, required.
* 1 to 3 years of fundraising and donations campaigns, community outreach, and community development experience strongly preferred.
* Course work in fundraising, marketing, communications, or related field a plus.
* Demonstrated success in managing and meeting fundraising goals.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
