Texas Biomed is seeking a strong, dynamic Development Operations Manager to support the Development team and all philanthropic fundraising programs at Texas Biomed through managing all development operations functions. This position is responsible for overseeing all prospect research and development database activity as well as managing internal administrative support and budget needs for the department. The Role: •Manages and oversees all gift handling, gift processing, and gift acknowledgment processes related to philanthropic funds at Texas Biomed •Develops and maintains development team metrics and reports for measuring revenue and donor engagement. •Ensures financial integrity of data in collaboration with Finance Department, performing monthly and annual reconciliations. •Oversee all prospect research requests and provide reports/profiles as needed. •Develop, initiate and lead work projects for the development and implementation of process improvements, and policies and procedures that promote Texas Biomed's core values and align with strategic goals. •Confidentially maintain strong donor relations by ensuring accurate and timely recording, receipting, depositing and acknowledgment of gifts. •Serves as the department liaison to ensure proper recording of donor-restricted accounts with Finance. •Manages and tracks annual Development expense budget in collaboration with VP of Development and team members. •Performs quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness or proper usage of data. •Monitors and oversees all Development team expenses and invoicing processes. •Provide direction, leadership and motivation to assigned employees. •Coach, mentor, motivate and lead assigned employees influencing them to take positive action and be accountable for assigned responsibilities. •Support personal and career development opportunities and advancement. Our Ideal Candidate: •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required •Five (5) years of development experience and office/administrative support required •Must have experience with online fundraising platforms, creating and customizing reports, and creating systems to share information between databases •Knowledge and commitment to best practices in Development donor data management •Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and leadership skills •Strong understanding and mastery of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word •Must have experience with online fundraising platforms, creating and customizing reports, and creating systems to share information between databases.
