An employer is looking for a Product Owner in the San Antonio or Phoenix area or will consider remote for highly qualified candidates. This person will be joining a financial services client based in San Antonio, TX. This person will be supporting several teams within the property and casualty line of business on different member facing applications. This specific team supports BAU (Business as Usual). Work with development teams, SMES, and business analysts to deliver business requirements, writes stories and help deliver on strategy. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience as a Development Product Owner (DPO) Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience Hands-on experience working within JIRA Advanced experience with analyzing business requirements and process flows Familiarity of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe) Experience working with development teams Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience supporting USAA Experience within Property and Casualty (P&C) industry Digital Product Owner experience Experience supporting Business as Usual Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
