Overview:Braun Home, mid-Missouri's premier provider of services for adults with intellectual disabilities, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Developmental Assistants to join our team in Fayette and Fulton. We are committed to helping our residents achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.Our motto is Everyone Deserves a Home and we are seeking team members who can help us deliver on that promise by providing the best care possible for our clients.Job Details:-Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour-Job Type: Part-time and Full-time positions available-Shift and Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts with Opportunities for Overtime and Weekend Work as Needed.-Work Location: On-site, Fayette, MO 65248 (Fulton 65251)Benefits:-Paid time off-Flexible Scheduling-Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan-Employer Paid Dental Insurance-Employer Paid Vision Insurance-Employer Paid Life Insurance-Employee Assistance Program-401(k) with Employer MatchRequirements:-Be at Least 18 Years Old.-Have High School Diploma or GED preferred but can obtain DSP training in absence of diploma.-Have a Valid Driver's License or Non-Driver ID.-Be a US Citizen or Possess a Work Visa, with Proof of SSN, Birth Certificate, or Legal Documents Acceptablefor I-9.-Have Flexible Availability, Able to Maintain a Minimum of 16 Hours per Week for Part-Time or 40 Hours perWeek for Full-Time.-Pass a Criminal Background CheckResponsibilities:-Follow and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISP) to assist residents in achieving their goals.-Document daily activities, progress, and any concerns in individual logs.-Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household chores.-Provide guidance on social skills, decision making, and daily living activities.-Administer and track medication schedules.-Ensure a clean and orderly environment.-Communicate effectively with home managers and professional managers regarding residents' needs andconcerns.-Participate actively and positively in all tasks and activities with residents.-Maintain detailed records of personal spending, health concerns, and any behavioral issues.Preferred Experience:-Experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities, apply to join our caring and supportive team today.Braun Home is an equal opportunity employer.recblid 5zjznk2oenhmsszwvgng5h2x43uywi
