YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
* Develop test fixtures to be used for characterize of medical devices;
* Develop test methods and protocols to be used for evaluation of medical devices;
* Setup and execute experimental tests in a laboratory setting to provide data indicating the performance of medical devices;
* Contribute to the development of data analysis tools to improve the efficiency of evaluating experimental results;
* Prepare of formal test reports to provide a record of testing activities and results;
* Prepare and present findings to cross functional program teams;
* Contribute to deliverables of support fielded products and required documentation for products under development.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program and returning to their program following completion of the co-op;
* Knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts;
* Ability to apply technology, engineering concepts and methodologies to develop solutions;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to work independent as wellas in a team-oriented environment;
* Experience with data analysis in Python;
* Experience with development of automated test tools;
* Previous lab or medical device experience;
* Experience or exposure to hardware design or rapidprototyping.
