For one of our ongoing multiyear project we are looking for a DevOps AWS engineer out of NY.Total experience in required skill (years) : 6 - 8 yearsMandatory Technical / Functional Skills :Must Have: Expertise with enabling CI/CD Automation with Jenkins, Chef, Coding withRuby/Gradle scripting languages, Linux Operating SystemGood to Have : Working experience with toolslike Spinnaker, Perl, Python, Cloud deployment onto AWS, DockerDesign, implement and support custom monitoringsolutionsPrepare test plans and perform functionality andperformance testingExperience with implementing Network, Server andApplication MonitoringUNIX/Linux administration experienceExperience working with Cloud vendors such as AWSExperience gathering requirements from differentengineering teamsRoles and responsibility :Strong communication, leadership,troubleshooting & consultation skills.Must have excellent organization skills withability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMust have strong negotiation skills with theability to find successful resolutions for complex issues, escalating thosethat require management involvement when necessaryPrior experience supporting Java applicationswith Oracle backend a plusIdentify and address performance/scalabilitybottlenecksBuild unit and integration test automation forfeatures delivered while keeping a high level of code coverageRespond to production issues for owned areas andmitigate them when problems occurFollow all agile team processesDesirable Technical / Functional Skills : Unix/Linux Administration, Jenkins, Chef, Ruby, DockerAWSQualificationsDevOps EngineerAWS deploymentJenkins, Chef/puppet
