Description Looking for a DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our client solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing and automating our infrastructure and deployment processes. Targeting candidates passionate about CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, cloud technologies, and fostering a culture of collaboration. Principal Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Development: Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline to facilitate automated, streamlined development.
- Automation & Scripting: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure the security of cloud resources through IAM, VPC security configurations, and data encryption. Conduct regular audits and implement best practices to comply with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments, handling incident response and root cause analysis as needed.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery are followed across environments and infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and experience with AWS Lambda.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD, CodePipeline).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS.
