Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Kubernetes and Docker, as well as proficiency in Spinnaker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Shell scripting, alongside hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting. You will play a critical role in implementing CI/CD processes and methodologies, ensuring our development pipeline is efficient and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deploy applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Utilize Spinnaker for continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in Python and Shell to automate processes.
  • Configure and manage Jenkins for CI/CD workflows, including Groovy scripting.
  • Conduct code quality checks and integrate SonarQube into development practices.
  • Support and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide operational support as needed.
  • Leverage AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, EC2, EKS, and others to enhance cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to develop user-friendly features using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Python and Shell scripting.
  • 5+ years in Enterprise or Platform Architecture within a financial services organization.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with services including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, ECR, CloudFormation, IAM, KMS, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
  • Proven ability to design and implement solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.
