Job Description: Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
- The Jenkins Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Jenkins CICD pipeline infrastructure.
- This role involves ensuring the stability of the build and deployment processes, automating tasks, and providing support for development teams in their continuous integration efforts.
- Install, configure, and maintain Jenkins servers and plugins.
- Monitor the Jenkins infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Work with development teams to set up new projects and build pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, and source control management.
- Implement security best practices for Jenkins and related tools.
- Document CI/CD processes and maintain a knowledge base for Jenkins users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Jenkins features and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong experience with Jenkins and continuous integration/continuous delivery principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is must.
- Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Jenkins or DevOps tools are advantageous.
- Proven track record of managing Jenkins in a production environment.
