PositionTitle: DevOps Staff Engineer Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 amto 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week Summaryof Duties: Responsible for thesuccessful deployment of integrated and stand-alone releases into production.Design, implement, and maintain Build strategies and definitions, CI/CD toolingand processes, and packaging and deployment solutions. Automate Software and OS configurationthrough PowerShell and MSI packages.Troubleshoot production issues and steer them to resolution along withother teams. Develop proof of concepts and propose solutions to architectureand tech leads. Improve deploymentprocesses to ensure zero downtime and simple rollback protocols for allreleases. Build and improve monitoringand alerting solutions. Continuallylead, facilitate, and coordinate synchronized release to maximize valuedelivered to their customers. Ensurework is in compliance with security requirements. 5-10% domestic travelrequired to Labs and Hospitals. Remote work permitted. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree in ComputerEngineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and ten (10)years of experience in the job offered or as a Configuration &Infrastructure Engineer, Application Development Engineer, Software Engineer,or an acceptable alternate occupation.Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience inthe job offered, or as a Configuration & Infrastructure Engineer,Application Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or an acceptable alternateoccupation. The position requires 5 years ofexperience with the following skills: Experience in DevOps activities;Experience with software configuration management, infrastructure, andautomation tools; Experience in defining and implementing Build strategy and Builddefinitions; Experience designing and implementing packaging and deploymentsolutions; Experience writing secure code to protect against commoncybersecurity vulnerabilities; Experience transforming Culture to DevSecOps;Experience in generating Secure Base Image with automation using MDT. The position requires eight (8) years ofCI/CD experience. The position requiresexperience with the following skills: Experience with at least 2 CI/CDproducts, such as Cruise Control, Jenkins, TFVC/AZDO, IBM Urban Code Deploy,Git, or GitHub; Experience designing Windows Installer using PowerShell or WiXtoolset. 5-10% domestic travel required to labs and hospitals.
