The Diagnostic Imaging Director is responsible for the leadership of personnel, quality, equipment and administration of all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging ( DI ) while partnering with clinicians to provide imaging services.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiographic Science from an accredited university required; Master's degree preferred.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Demonstrated progressive clinical and management experience (5 years minimum).
- Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, medical center administration, public and external agencies.
- Skills in conflict resolution.
- Demonstrates a strong clinical knowledge base, in the profession of Diagnostic Imaging.
- Experience with quality assurance projects and knowledge of their application in a health care environment.
- Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension and expression.
- Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing customer and department needs.
- Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g. integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence).
