About the Job We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners, operating complex equipment, and maintaining accurate records. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with experienced professionals.Key Responsibilities Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient to ensure accurate and timely delivery of servicesOperate CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency, including IV contrast injectors, oxygen and suction equipment, patient transport devices, and patient monitoring equipmentMaintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and contrast administrationCollaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of careRequirements To be successful in this role, you will need:A graduate degree from an accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine TechnologyCurrent certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine, with advanced registry in CT scanning within one year of hireCPR certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies, with occasional standing, walking, and sitting throughout the dayBenefits We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.Salary Information The estimated salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
