Auburn Community Hospital is a 99 bed, rural hospital located in Cayuga County. Serving a population of over 80,000, we are the largest employer in the county. Our radiology department is looking for their next Ultrasound Technologist. This person will perform diagnostic medical examination of patients using real-time ultrasound imaging and duplex doppler ultrasound using the Philips Epiq.This person will work 3 12s, 8a-8:30p with occasional weekends and call required.Qualifications:-Graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.-RDMS credentialed or eligible within 6 months of hire.-CPR certification required.-2 years experience preferred.Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time, occasional lifting, carrying and pushing items weighing 50+ lbs. Requires full range of motion for handling and lifting to include manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges. Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids on a regular basis.
