Job Posting DescriptionThis Dialysis Technician will be responsible for:Assisting in setting up and disconnecting the dialysis equipmentMonitoring and operating of dialysis equipment while in usePreparing the treatment spaces in between patients and assembles necessary suppliesMonitoring patient vital signs during treatment, responding appropriately to visual and audible alarms and reports any unusual findings to the nurseAccurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment FlowsheetReporting any significant information and or change in patient condition directly to the nurseCleaning and disinfecting dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment and surrounding area between treatments, maintaining a clean and aseptic environment according to facility policy. Ensuring that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to policyAssisting in maintenance of Dialysis equipment including monthly water testing.
