Job Title: DIB Cyber Threat Analyst

Key Role:

Processes and analyzes cyber threat intelligence data relating to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), and compiles standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverages expertise of cyber data and information, analyzes and identifies data requirements, uses specialized tools and services, and develops intelligence products. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience investigating security events, threats, or vulnerabilities within the DoD
  • Experience operating in a professional IT or cybersecurity environment
  • Experience creating reports and briefs involving cyber incidents and threats
  • Knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and practices
  • Knowledge of web penetration methodologies and applications
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working with organizations such as DoD or supporting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, BASH, or Java
  • CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+ or similar certification

Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
