Shift: Day Shift may require some flexibility and have the ability to work an occasional Saturday.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for designing, building, repairing, and maintaining dies for production equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in die making and machining processes and an eye for precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and assemble new dies based on specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain existing dies to ensure continued, efficient operation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with dies to minimize production downtime.
• Use a variety of precision tools and machinery to achieve exact measurements and specifications.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Record maintenance, repairs, and design modifications in an organized manner for tracking and reference.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional vocational or technical training in die making or machining is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Die Maker or in a related role.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of various tools, materials, and techniques used in die making
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and team-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Extended periods of standing, kneeling, and working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate and handle tools and machinery safely and effectively.
