Akkodis is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for an Truck Manufacturing company located in Mount Vernon, WA. This position requires Heavy Duty or Class 8 trucks/trailer diesel experience to be considered for this position. In this position you will be performing services on diesel engines, oil changes, nature inspection, as well as other work such as brakes and clutch adjustments.

Pay Range: $28 - $34/HR. -- Contract-to-Hire

Diesel Mechanic job responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain heavy duty diesel engines and vehicles for testing, including replacing components and
• Installing data measurement equipment
• Work closely with engineering staff to assure engines and vehicles are performing as requested during testing.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair test engines and vehicles
• Maintain the highest level of documentation, work area cleanliness and organization.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
