Must have the working knowledge of: The theory, principles and repairs relating to internal combustion engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical mechanisms applying to the repair of power generation equipment.
Must have knowledge of the mechanical condition of generators, equipment and diagnose component malfunctions. Perform service and repair actions based on trainer and supervisor guidance.
Has the ability to perform inspections and servicing of equipment without direct supervision.
Repairs, adjusts or replaces major assemblies or sub-assemblies such as generator ends, radiators, fuel system components and various engine accessory components.
Responsible for cleaning equipment after completion of service or repairs.
Must have knowledge of the use of technical manuals, wiring schematics, test equipment.
Completes Repair Orders, shop time tickets, swap out reports and all other paperwork as necessary.
Responsible for ensuring the mechanics shop is kept in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsible for attending all safety meetings and following all safety policies and procedures.
Working Knowledgeable in the use of hand and power tools and shop equipment.
Must have all requirements met to perform onsite jobs at customer locations.
Must have own hand tools to perform task.
Clean valid Driver's License.
Responsible for performing all other duties requested by direct supervisor.
