We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area!Earn $72k to $125k Annually - Dependent Upon Experience - Full Benefits!Previous Experience As A Diesel Mechanic/Technician Required!Benefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance- Employer Pays 70% + for Individuals and Families* HSA- Employer Contribution $600.00-$1000.00* FSA* HRA- Employer Contribution: $2000.00- $4,000.00 for Individuals and Families* Life insurance- Employer Sponsored $20,000 for each Employee.* Additional Life Insurance- Available to employees, spouse and children* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional Development Assistance Available including: Our internal Mentorship Programs, Paid Technical Training Programs, Certifications, Credentials and much more!* Referral program- $2000.00* Vision insuranceResponsibilities:* Complete a 25-point inspection on every truck, Trailer or vehicles that comes into our shop.* Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required* Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues* Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions* Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts* Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts* Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance* Completing PM's including oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks* Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles* Collaborating with Service and Parts departments to ensure the highest level of customer service is shown to our customers and their equipment.Job Requirements:* Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, and the mechanisms of a diesel engine* In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms* Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment* Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools* Excellent problem-solving skills* Keen attention to detail* Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics* Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software* A valid driver's license* Good interpersonal skills* Effective collaboration and communication skills
