The 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where more than 300 primary care and specialty physicians are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.Statement of Purpose:Under the direct supervision of the Diet Supervisors, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of food service, dish room duties and cash handling duties as well as other related activities.Qualifications:Education: Ability to read, write, speak & understand English at a 8th grade level. High school graduate preferred.Certification / License: Serve Safe certification preferred.Experience: Food service experience in a health care facility preferred. Must have good positive, interpersonal Communication skills.Ability to read & comprehend patient meal ticket information in English -food items, name, room #Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPossess stamina to constantly make trips up & down to patient floors, delivering / retrieving trays,floor supplies, etc. throughout the shiftAbility to stand throughout the shift while performing duties.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in English.
