GENERAL PURPOSE:The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation of food for patients, residents and employees. The Dietary Aide also prepares and delivers food trays to hospital patients, performs combination of trayline duties, delivers food carts to specified areas and maintains kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
