Makes corrections/substitutions as needed.* Assures that all menu items and serving utensils needed for meal service are available and adequate prior to start of service.* Follows all food handling regulations, to include proper wrapping, labeling, dating, and storage of food.* Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and sanitary manner.* Completes necessary pre-preparation or stocking of food items or supplies for future meals.* Consistently uses correct sanitation procedures and equipment, to include proper handwashing, wearing hair net, and using plastic gloves.* Assists nursing staff to ensure that all food handling and nutritional requirements and procedures are adhered to.Requirements* Literacy and communication skills in English required.* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Must be able to lift up to 30 lb. and push cart weighing 300 lb.* Excellent Customer Service Skills.
