Cleveland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Cleveland, MS is currently hiring for reliable full-time/part-time Dietary Aide to perform assigned work in preparing and serving food, cleaning food service areas,equipment and utensils.Essential Duties1. Performs job duties safely as specified in the physical, sensory, and mentalrequirements.2. Prepares patient trays according to instructions and diet order.3. Assists in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and dietrequirements.4. Covers, dates, and labels leftovers and open items properly.5. Employs proper food handling techniques in preparation of food and setting up orserving trays.6. Cleans, washes, and sanitizes dishes, silverware, and utensils using correctmethod.7. Assists in maintaining the general cleanliness of the dishwashing area.8. Cleans work area and equipment as assigned.9. Puts up stock in food storage areas, including dry storage, freezers, andrefrigerators, as assigned.10. Delivers food, nourishments, and supplies to nursing units and other areas asassigned.Standard Requirements1. Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of the Facility.2. Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members andguests.e. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance,uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other workduties as assigned.f. Participates as assigned in the orientation of new staff and demonstrates apositive, helpful, and enthusiastic attitude.6. Immediately reports incidents of alleged resident abuse or neglect or allegedviolations of residents' rights to Supervisor or Executive Director.7. Maintains current practice standards or changes by participating in educationalopportunities provided by the Facility and outside resources.Other DutiesPerform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, butwhich may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. Performsother work duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.A.D.A ((Americans with Disabilities Act)(as amended)) REQUIREMENTS: Must beable to bend, stoop, push, pull, and walk and stand for most of the working day. Requiresmanual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as fax, telephone,etc. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Must be free from communicablediseases that pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others and which cannot beeliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
