JOB SUMMARY:The Dietary Aideposition ensures the sanitary conditions of the cooking and dining areas. Thisposition helps to assemble meal trays and assists in preparation and serving ofmeals to our residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take down dining areasand collect plates, glasses, etc
- Assist Cook in preparingmeals
- Responsible fordelivering meals to resident rooms or tables and setting up meal trays inaccordance with dietary orders and tray cards
- Cleans utensils, dishes,and pots and pans by operating the dishwasher or proper handwashing processes
- Partners with dietarystaff to ensure equipment is working properly and at the appropriatetemperature
- Stock ingredients andmonitor inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
REQUIREMENTS:Food Handlers permit required by the State upon hire
