Assembles prepared food according their needs, delivers trays and nourishments, collects soiled trays, cleans the kitchen; sorts/stores utensils and supplies, dishwashing, prepares salads, sandwiches, desserts, stocks floor refrigerators as assigned and performs other related duties and tasks as may be assigned.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Responds appropriately to the special needs of each group served specific to age, language, gender, culture, religion/spirituality, economic background, education or literacy, developmental or cognitive disabilities, physical and developmental disabilities.Employee aids in the orientation of new employeesSets up and check resident trays accurately.Prepares nourishments.Properly sets up tray line stations as assignedFollows diet extensions / portion controlPrepares / serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearanceFollows sanitation policies for handling, storing food in such a manner to minimize any cross contaminationProperly sets up beverage carts and other special events as assignedSatisfactorily works at dish room station; records dishwasher temperaturesEnsures that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks and at the end of the work dayCleans / sanitizes all equipment according to policyAble to complete assignments within allotted time and able to adjust to changes and re-assignments.Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when handling supplies and equipmentFollows established policies and procedures for use of personal protective equipmentKnowledge of MSDSFamiliar with department and facility Performance Improvement ProjectsPay RangeUSD $21.50 - USD $27.00 /Hr.QualificationsThe pay for this position ranges from $21.50- $27.00 per hour/per year.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
