About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at The Health Center at The Willows at Worcester. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality and nutritious meals that meet their individual needs.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in food service or dietary management
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and menu planning
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
- Ensure that all meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
- Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
Skills:As a Dietary Aide, you will use your excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions to ensure that all meals are prepared correctly. Additionally, you will use your organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. Your knowledge of therapeutic diets and menu planning will be beneficial in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.
