Dietary Aide Job Duties:- Reviewing menus prior to preparation of food
- Inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct
- Performing administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Director of Food Services
- Coordinating dietary service with other departments as necessary
- Working with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician and other Supervisors as necessary and implementing recommended changes as required
- Assuring that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
- Assisting in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time
- Processing diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services and approved by the Director of Food Service
- Performing dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal
- Assisting in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary
